We want to continue on the topic of willingness.
People tend to focus on the HOW of this work.
- “How do I let things go?”
- “How do I figure this out?”
- “How do I heal?”
- “How do I get what I want?”
- “How do I avoid what I don’t want?”
This focus on how is chopping at the leaves instead of working at the root.
The HOW is the easiest path. It has been taught for thousands of years. And these schools provide very consistent results.
What comes before the how? That is both a question and a statement.
“What” comes before the “how”, period.
“What comes before the how? (question mark)
You must know what you want. Not you as the personality, conditioned mind, Ego. We mean you as the whole Being.
We have no interest in teaching how to get what you want on the limited level of the personality. We do not teach working at the leaf, we teach working at the root.
Be clear on what you want to the depth of your being.
Then, align yourself to it. That is the most important part.
Imagine yourself on a boat, a rowboat.
Deciding where you want to go is the “what”.
Pointing your boat in that direction is alignment.
The act of working in that direction is the how.
The issue we are illustrating is that most of you, not necessarily the ones reading this, but most of humanity, focus on how to row before they have set course for where they want to go.
Do you see how counterproductive this is?
Sort out the dissonant parts of yourselves and find your alignment. That is most of the work.
Then the how is easy, joyful, empowered. The right guidance, in the perfect amounts needed, shows up at the perfect time.
The only thing that stands in the way of what your Soul wants are the dissonant parts of yourself.
In other words, you are not healing because you don’t want to heal. Not all of you. Not because you don’t know how, or because you are eating the wrong foods, or not meditating enough.
You are not in the relationship you want because part of you doesn’t want it. Not because something is wrong with your dating profile.
We urge you to let go of knowing what you want on the level of the personality, because operating on that level will never be truly fulfilling. We want you to understand that seeking alignment is, in the end, easier than exerting effort out of alignment.
Look at it this way: It seems easier in a group of 10 people that are in disagreement about the correct course of action, to go off and do your own thing. Easier than resolving the conflict among the 10 of you. But if you do, your efforts become 10x more empowered all of a sudden. The same applies within you.
Align yourself by setting the clear intention that you want to be aligned. And by seeing yourself as aligned.
My intention is to be aligned to My Highest Good, The Highest Good of Those I Serve, and The Highest Good of All Living Beings. I am willing to change, as is necessary, in accordance with this intention.
And trust that when you decide this, when you say yes to this, it will find you.
There may be a delay before it becomes manifest. Trust that any intention that is in alignment with the good of all is met, in the perfect way, at the perfect time. That is all.
