Channeling, and art, are like diving off a cliff in a foggy darkness, hoping that there is water.
It is a leap of faith.
It is surrender to something to express itself through you.
Art is channeling.
Becoming a vehicle for expression for a greater power. For a greater intelligence. And that is where the material and the immaterial, the physical and the nonphysical meet.
The material is building your vehicle. You can do more with a well functioning car than one that is falling apart.
That’s your responsibility. To build and cultivate a vehicle for the divine, for your soul, to express itself through. To experience itself through you.
That’s why you must be in this world.
Eat well. Take care of your body. Cultivate your skills at whatever it that you choose to do.
You can only be danced by the divine to the extent that you cultivated your body’s ability to move.
And to the extent to which you have eliminated the noise, the static, the disturbance, out of your system.
A whisper cannot be heard in a noisy room. But take out all the noise, and you can hear it.
Ask yourself: What is the noise in my system? What is in me that does not serve me?
A river flows smoothly when there are no obstructions in it. Throw in a bunch of huge boulders and there will be disturbance.
Your job, your responsibility, is to be a clear channel, clear of obstructions, so that we can flow through you smoothly.
Obstructions of mind, of Ego, of energy.
This is a process of refinement, of deepening into your own Being.
It can happen all at once, but it doesn’t for the majority of people. It is usually, commonly, gradual. So be patient with it.
The important thing is that you understand the mechanics of it. That you see the Big Picture.
That you have a clear direction. When you are clear, determined, oriented, the outcome is merely a matter of time.
Intention is the most important aspect of this, always.
Be a deliberate creator. And be aligned with the whole.
The Ego, in its seeking of separation, can very easily slip into action that is out of harmony with the whole.
It is effortful, like swimming upstream in a raging river. And then the Ego tries to build a powerful boat with powerful engines.
Eventually, in this lifetime or another, you realize that this fight cannot be won. You realize that it’s more enjoyable to align yourself with life rather than fight it.
That is surrender. Surrender to the flow, to the river of life. That’s when it starts.
And, despite the Ego’s resistance, its hesitation, it doesn’t take anything away from you.
That belief is an illusion. Aligning yourself with the whole only adds.
It merely takes the conviction that it is possible.
The whole only wants what’s best for the whole. The complete unification of what’s in your highest good, the highest good of those you serve, and the highest good of all living beings.
They are not a venn diagram with overlaps. They are one and the same thing. People just aren’t taught to think that way.
Which is ok, because you can change your thinking easily once you rise above it.
It’s only hard when you don’t know how. Actually, it’s only hard when you are not aware that it’s possible.
All growth is growth of awareness. A deepening. An expansion.
If it aligns with you, set the intention:
I am here to be an expression of divine love. I am here to be an expression of divine intelligence. I am here to experience, to learn, to grow, to evolve.
I surrender to my Higher Purpose, because I know that this is the highest and most joyful experience of myself.
I commit to do the best I can in every moment, to cultivate and build this vehicle.
I commit to love, and only love, and only the expression of that which is in the good of all, in this lifetime, and in all lifetimes.
For I know that what I seek, I am.
I am love. I’m a force for good. I’m a force for change. I’m a force for evolution, for freedom, for joy, for liberation, for the good of the whole and all of its parts.
Aho.
