Appreciate what you have.

This is not a new teaching, but it is so so important.

Your focus determines your quality of life. And having an amazing quality of life is what everyone wants, right?

If you focus on what’s wrong, you will always find something wrong. If you look for problems the problems never end. The same is true for the good things, things that are working, things that you appreciate.

One important distinction is that focus is not the same as ignorance. Positive focus does not mean that you ignore the problems. The trash needs to be taken out, but you don’t need to be a trash-seeking machine in order for that to be accomplished. You simply handle it when it arises.

All this that we said up to this point today was an introduction, and this introduction leads us to fear.

You see, what creates this focus on what’s wrong, what’s missing, what could go wrong, is fear.

And fear attracts more fear, and that which you fear. In other words, worrying is praying for what you don’t want.

You can learn on the level of fear, but it is not necessary.

Don’t misunderstand this please. We are not saying you should be reckless. Wear your seatbelt. Lock your front door. Eat well. Know that there is a huge difference between wearing your seatbelt because it’s prudent vs because you constantly worry about car crashes.

Your inner experience is as rich as your outer, or at least has the potential to be.

Being in fear and worry is like putting on the kinds of movies that you don’t like and making yourself watch them.

Frankly, it’s a form of self-abuse, and you would benefit from seeing it as such in order to liberate yourself from it.

Ultimately, freedom is simply freedom from fear. From chronic fear.

Being in fear when you hear growling behind you in the jungle is natural.

Being in fear at 2 am because you worry about your job or your health or who is going to win the election is not. Please understand this: It is COMMON. But it is not NATURAL.

When you connect to your true essential nature, you know no fear. And you know that nothing can be lost.

Let us put it this way: Fear is an illusion that comes from the limited perspective of separation. Connect to your divine nature, and fear disappears.

How significant is a bad day? Not every, because you know you have many days ahead of you. If this was your last day, or your only day, you might see it differently.

Now expand this perspective. How significant is this life when you know that you have an infinite and eternal existence ahead of you?

So what do you have to fear? If you are eternal (and you are), there is nothing to lose.

You get to experience everything, and what you are experiencing in this life is something you chose out of your own free will and you have created your experience here.

So now we want you to ask: "Why would I continue to create that which I don’t want by perpetuating my addiction to fear?"

And it is an addiction by its very definition: a behavior that is harmful that you can’t stop.

But you CAN stop it. Simply by waking up to the deeper reality, that you are an aspect of God realized in form at this time.

We want to close by saying that this teaching is not intellectual. If you are confused by it - great. If you believe we are wrong - great.

This teaching is a reminder to your Soul, and if it was willing to be reminded, it was. It is a mechanism of inception, of planting the seed of an idea deep at your core. And this simple idea can grow into a magnificent tree of life that liberates you. If you are willing. And if you agree to it.

And we are not tricking or manipulating you into this. For one, because it would not be loving. And because it would not work anyway. You cannot manipulate or manage or trick or control someone to go up in frequency. You can only bring them down. And we are not about that at all.

Your agreement to this work is necessary, and we encourage you to reflect on what you are saying “yes” to in your life and why.

That is all.
