Guides June 4

You know that something profound is happening when you feel energy in your body.

The deeper levels of work that you are doing happen non-conceptually. You will understand some of them conceptually but not others. Be open to receive that understanding but do not be attached to it.

Seeking to understand something that cannot be understood at this time blocks the attunement from happening. For example, you do not have to understand love, or falling in love, or feeling in love, in order to experience it.

Feeling and energy carry information in a different way than concepts. Each has their place. Use concepts where they apply and vice versa.

You wouldn’t want to rely on merely feeling to build a bridge or airplane and ensure their structure and safety. Yet you can use feeling to inform you when something about that doesn’t feel quite right.

And you should not use only concepts to choose your life partner.

This may seem obvious to some of you, and if it is, that’s good. Yet we see from our perspective that it is not common. People are flooded in the structures of their minds. That means they use them more than is appropriate.

It’s not that thinking is bad. Thinking is great. Too much thinking is bad. When thinking creates suffering on top of the situation at hand, it is bad.

We are using terms of good and bad with strong polarity here on purpose. To the uninitiated, this can be a paradox. At one time we say “there is no good and bad, no right and wrong, there is only one path - that everything is the path.” At another time, we talk about good and bad. So which one is it, you ask?

It’s both. There are layers to reality. There is no benefit to describe the inevitable present moment in terms of good and bad, especially in terms of “bad”. It is what is and THIS moment cannot be changed. Accept and love it as it is.

And understand that acceptance is not condoning. Accepting the global atrocities of the 20th century does not mean condoning those atrocities to continue into the future.

You only have two choices, two decisions:

  1. What is your dialog about the past and present?
  2. What do you envision about the future?

The evolved perspective that you are waking up to collectively is how to be with what is without creating unnecessary psychological suffering and how to design and create and manifest a “better” future.

And that can only happen when you let go of your energetic attachments to the past. Trauma is the continuation of what happened in your nervous system in a way that diminishes your ability to be present, meaning it diminishes your ability to be alive.

Healing trauma is not forgetting. It is not condoning. It is definitely not perpetuating patterns of harm or abuse between yourselves. Healing is integrating those experiences and letting go of your attachments to them.

You do not need to relive the past over and over to protect yourself.

We talk about the hot stove as an example a lot in our teachings. You know not to touch a hot stove. You know there is no need to be awake in bed reliving how you got burnt by a hot stove. Discernment, knowing without the emotional charge, is wisdom.

You can be that way with everything.

We understand and have compassion for your trauma. Getting this traumatized, this separated, this wounded was an important stage of your evolution. You could not have done better.

When we talk about what’s possible it is not to make you feel bad. Quite the opposite, it is to help you feel good. To show you that the way things have been doesn’t determine how things will be.

Possibility is vital to conscious evolution. Kids in high school run 4-minute miles because Roger Bannister demonstrated the possibility. Which means that he believed, even to the smallest degree, that it was possible.

Our goal is to help you find that: the belief, no matter how minuscule, that better is possible. That life for all living beings can be expansive rather than contractive. That you can live sustainably in harmony with this Earth. That you can live in harmony with one another. That there can be peace and unity among you. That you can transcend mind-made suffering.

Life is full of challenges and obstacles. You don’t have to make up new ones to add to that.

When you conceive of this idea of a peaceful, abundant Earth, you are motivated to step into action. And the action is not to go out into the world and fix it because you can’t fix it. Everyone is here on their own journey. Do not attempt to deprive them of their lessons.

Go out into your inner world and work there. Sort yourself out. Get your mind right. Do YOUR work. Open your heart. Get coherent. Align all parts of yourself. Be an example and an embodiment of this work in each moment. Be an embodiment of unconditional love.

THAT is your 4-minute mile. Demonstrate what is possible. Be of service. That means offer your service. Do not impose or force your service onto others.

Each one of you is the light. Shine it. Unveil it.

And know that this is what helps others shine theirs. Your presence helps others connect to their presence. Your state of being is what helps others more than your doing. Your state is the most powerful force for transformation.

Let go of these illusions of form: Conscious evolution does not look like what your minds have been conditioned to believe. The spiritual teacher who talks in front of thousands of people and sells millions of books is not more important than someone washing dishes in the back of the restaurant. Your Amazon package would not get to you without the person packing the box.

Impact on this plane’s consciousness cannot be measured formally the way you measure and compensate contributions to your economy. Don’t get attached to these levels of form. They can be important.

We are not advocating renunciation. You can do what you want on the level of form. It’s important, but it’s not primary. What’s primary is your state of being, of presence, of connection with source. Cultivate that, and everything you desire on the level of form will find its way to you.
