The Light Body & Shadow Work

June 23, 2024

We are going to continue about the topic of cultivating your vehicle and building your light body.

You must know that healing and awakening will make certain things that you used to do impossible, and out of alignment. You may find that some habits such as drinking alcohol will be more and more unpleasant.

Because as your awareness grows, your sensitivity does too.

Things that don’t support that will fall away, because they are resistance in you as a conductor of energy and you will notice where you are resisting more and more.

This may appear as regression, as getting worse, but you are not. You are simply more aware of your resistance, whereas, in the past, you were unconscious of it.

It is like you lived all your life in ignorance, unconscious of the things that were in your shadow, and now that light is entering the shadow, you are seeing those things, and you can’t unsee them.

You have to move through them, transmute them, let them go. Otherwise they will paralyze you.

Remember that you ARE moving forward, even when it appears that you are not.

Imagine you bought a piece of land with an old house on it that you don’t like. To build a new one, you must tear down the old and dispose of it, to build a new foundation and a new house.

So, for a period of time, you go from having a house to having a pile of trash. Out with the old and in with the new.

It is a process of transformation and that requires energy.

A complex process that you may wish to be linear from your human point of view, but it is not.

It is complex, circular, spiral.

It happens on levels and in layers.

We are telling you this because when you are in the midst of such a process, you tend to judge it, which only adds more friction and slows it down. That is why it is important to have guides and teachers who have a bigger, higher perspective and can reassure you that what you are going through is natural.

And that the discomfort and confusion and overwhelm are part of it.

That is why the best training to facilitate this work for others is to do your own work. You cannot guide someone through an area you haven’t been to before.

You should not guide merely based on what you learned conceptually rather than non-conceptually because you cannot know something to be true unless you have experienced it yourself.

Your intellect might argue with this now. That’s ok.

These teachings are pointers, you must have your own experience of them to integrate them.

So your primary training is your own work and experience. Your secondary training is what you learn from others, the models, practices, processes, etc.

Both are important. And their ratio must be right.

Let’s say a soup is 99% water and 1% soup. That is not completely accurate, but close enough to make the point. 99% salt and 1% water is not a soup. The ration matters.

And your culture has been off track in this ratio. It has been overemphasizing the mind at the expense of the heart. It has lost its rites of passage and initiation, which are deeply transformative experiential practices, and replaced them with academia.

And again, that pendulation between extremes is part of the process of finding the right relationship, the right ratio. We are pointing this out to you, not in judgement but in love. Yes we are direct, and it may be uncomfortable or even triggering, but we are lovingly direct.

And we know that these teachings are not for everyone. You know whether this resonates for you or not. All of this work is an invitation. You may accept it or refuse it at your discretion and there is no judgement either way. Only love.
